Level 1/2: For those just beginning a yoga practice or wanting to come back to some basics within the practice.
Level 2: An Intermediate practice which focuses on alignment and breath within basic poses and moving toward more challenging poses.
Level 2/3: For the more “available” practitioner wanting to move towards more advanced poses and a more challenging flow.
All Levels: Appropriate to all practitioners. Class will be adapted toward the students who are present. Modifications will be given to both challenge and inspire the practice.
A hybrid of the Classic Hatha Style, with attention to alignment and detail, and the fluidity and breath consciousness of a Vinyasa Flow. Both styles combined to connect and move you deeper. During pregnancy, a woman's body and mind experience many changes. Connecting into and becoming comfortable with those changes is important as the pregnancy progresses. Maintaining the physical strength and flexibility of the body will help ease tensions and stress in the body and help prepare for childbirth.
We will move gently, stretch and help the body maintain the physical stability it needs during the months of pregnancy.
A class suited for those with physical challenges such as MS, Parkinson's Disease, Osteoporosis, neurological conditions, joint replacements and the like. Focusing on lubrication of joints, balance and proprioception exercises. We use props such as chairs, blocks, bolsters and straps.
Seated Hatha Yoga. Perfect for anyone working through limited mobility. Chairs are provided but you may find it not necessary to use them after a while. Great for building strength, balance and gait.
